Plateau Community Lauds Governor Sule for Fostering Peaceful Coexistence
The Plateau community in Nasarawa State has applauded Governor Abdullahi Sule for fostering a peaceful environment among people of different affiliations.
The leader of the Plateau community in Nasarawa State John Bulus Dalang, made the commendation during the Berom Women Association’s annual closing meeting in Lafia.
The event, which brought together members of the Plateau ethnic group, aimed to promote unity, peaceful coexistence, and social interaction among the community and their host families.

The Dagwom Berom of Lafia Moses Kantong, and representative of the chairman of the Plateau Indigenes Development Association (PIDAN) Bernard Lar, urged women to engage in economic initiatives that promote development in their host communities.
The chairperson of the Berom Women Association in Lafia Mrs. Garose David Tsaku, highlighted the socio-economic benefits shared between Plateau and Nasarawa states and commended Governor Sule for his open-door policy and commitment to peace in the state.
The event showcased the rich cultural heritage of the Berom community, featuring traditional dishes and dances.
