ERCC President Charges Civil Servants on Commitment and Dedication to Duty

President of the Evangelical Reformed Church of Christ, ERCC Very Reverend Dave Denji has charged civil servants on commitment and dedication to duty.

The cleric stated this during a Church service at ERCC Glory Land, Shendam Road, Lafia.

The retirement service of Emmanuel Alidzi saw present and past top government officials in attendance led by the head of civil service, Abigail Waya where singing groups of the Church rolled out their drums to celebrate with the retired permanent secretary who served at the State Ministry of Finance, Budget and Planning.

Speaking during the thanksgiving service, President of the Evangelical Reformed Church of Christ ERCC, Very Reverend Dave Denji who described diligence, hardwork and commitment to duty as sure way for success, tasked civil servants in the state to uphold the virtues of doing the right things at all times.

While commending the retired permanent secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Alidzi for appreciating God for a life well spent in service, said He will continue to grant him all he desires and challenged others to emulate him if they must succeed.

Head of Civil Service Abigail Waya who underscored the contributions of Emmanuel Alidzi to the growth and development of the service, especially in the area of finance, encouraged those in service to look up to him as a role model.

Guest speaker during the thanksgiving service, Reverend Joshua Adeka attributed bountiful blessings that one can have in life to the way people learn to appreciate God.

For the celebrant Emmanuel Alidzi the 35 years of service was impactful and appreciated God for sparing his life to see the day successful and also appreciated all that made his service year a success just as he also gave accolades to  engineer Abdullahi Sule for giving him the enabling environment to serve.
