Community Youths Take Measures to Tackle Criminal ActivitiesÂ
Youths in Shabu and Kwandare communities of Lafia North development area have taken measures to tackle criminal activities plaguing their Communities.
The decision was taken during a joint peace meeting hosted by the youth leadership of both communities at Government Secondary School Shabu
Recognizing the escalating criminal activities, particularly kidnapping, in Shabu and Kwandare, the youth leaders organized the peace meeting to engage in discussions and find sustainable solutions to combat these challenges.
Following the successful meeting, the Coordinator of the NYCN in Lafia North, who also serves as the Chairman of the Kwandare Youths Movement, and the President of the Shabu Youth Movement jointly emphasized the importance of unity and peaceful coexistence in the communities to drive progress and development.
They expressed their commitment to supporting Governor Abdullahi Sule’s transformative agenda, focusing on key areas such as healthcare, education, agriculture, and infrastructure development across the State.
In a show of solidarity, the youth leaders, led by Comrade Abubakar Akanga, visited Shabu and Kwandare Primary Health Centers to provide financial support to health workers and patients.
They also met with Sangarin Shabu, Mamud Bwala, who commended their initiative and urged them to remain united and resist divisive forces for the greater good of the community.
