MACBAN Urges Members to Prioritize Peace and Unity in Nasarawa State

The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) has emphasizes the importance of sustainable peace, unity, and progress across Nasarawa State, urging its members to prioritize these values for the betterment of society.

The former State Chairman of the association,  Ardo Ciroma Hassan Adamu, made the call  during a stakeholders meeting to discuss the upcoming MACBAN elections in Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area.

The former State Chairman of the association,  Ardo Ciroma Hassan Adamu, underscored the crucial role of peace and unity in fostering progress and development in any community, emphasizing the need for the Fulani community to actively embrace these principles.

He highlighted the responsibility of elders in MACBAN to seek lasting solutions to challenges, particularly addressing conflicts between farmers and herders and ensuring security within their territories.

Adamu urged all members to uphold the principles of successful elections, advocating for consensus-building and mature conduct during and after the election process.

State Chairman Miyati Allah Cattle Breeders Association Alhaji Bala Mohammed Dabo highlighted the significant achievements of MACBAN over the past four years, including imparting valuable knowledge to their children, resolving conflicts between farmers and herders, empowering youth, among other initiatives.

Ramatu Abubakar, the assistant women leader of MACBAN, appealed to Fulani community members to continue upholding the law.
