Aliyu Bello Foundation to Align with Gov. Sule’s Sports Development Initiative

The founder of Aliyu Bello charity foundation has expressed readiness of his organisation to align with Governor Abdulahi Sule’s sports development initiative.

He stated this during the presentation of gifts on behalf of the Governor to team Lafia and Akwanga Local Government who came first and second position during the just concluded U-13 football tournament sponsored by the foundation.

Appreciating the state government for giving premium to sports development, the founder of Aliyu Bello charity foundation who is also the state APC chairman expressed satisfaction with the performance of teams at the second edition of the Nasarawa state u-13 football tournament reiterating his foundations commitment to empower young people with relevant skills that will unlock their full potentials.

Apart from commending Governor Abdullahi Sule for according premium to promote sporting activities among other critical sectors, Bello noted that his foundation will not relent in collaborating with the government as well as other relevant organizations whose aim and objectives are geared towards ameliorating the plight of the people especially the vulnerable communities.

He commended the team Lafia and Akwanga Local Government who came first and second position in the just concluded tournament just as Lafia and Akwanga Local Government team received seven hundred thousand and five hundred thousand naira respectively.

Speaking shortly after the presentation of the gift, the chairman Lafia Local Government council Aminu Mu’azu Maifata and his Akwanga counterpart Safiyanu Isa Andaha showered encomium on the state Governor engineer Abdulahi Sule for the gifts saying that it will further encourage them to improve their talents and strengthen unity in diversity among different ethnic nationalities just as they appreciated the founder of the foundation for organizing the tournaments urging him to sustain the momentum.

Captains of the teams thanked engineer Abdulahi Sule for the offer and appreciated the sponsor of the tournament for complimenting government efforts in that direction.

Meantime the state APC chairman Aliyu Bello was among dignitaries who attended the flag off of the second edition of the annual value edition agricultural empowerment scheme and cash rewards for excellence by the member representing Akwanga north Constituency Larry Ven at Andaha Akwanga Local Government area where he maintained that the gesture will in no small measure compliment government efforts in boosting the agricultural advancement for socio economic fortune.
