Ministry of Youths and Sports Sendoff Permanent Secretary
It was a moment of mixed emotions as management and staff of the Ministry of Youths and Sports Development gathered to bid farewell to the outgoing Permanent Secretary Barrister Isaac Danladi.
This event which marked his official departure from service was held at the Ministry.
The valedictory session in honor of Barrister Isaac Danladi was characterized by a blend of joy and nostalgia, as he becomes the first Permanent Secretary to depart before the conclusion of his tenure.
The Commissioner of the Ministry of Youths and Sports Development Jafaru Ango commended the outgoing Permanent Secretary Barrister Isaac Danladi’s commitment, and selflessness, emphasizing that his contributions to the growth and development of sports in the state will leave an enduring legacy that will be greatly missed.
Jafaru Ango encouraged Barrister Danladi to continue to lead by example in his future endeavors and wished him great success as he pursues new opportunities.
The State Head of Civil Service, Abigail Waya, who also spoke highly of Danladi, described him as a man of integrity who impacted positively on sports in Nasarawa State.
In a remark, Barrister Isaac Danladi expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Nasarawa State Government for the opportunity to serve, and the exemplary leadership of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Youths and Sports Development pledging to continue contributing to the development of sports in Nasarawa State, even after his official departure.
A highlight of the event was the official handover of responsibilities to the most senior director within the ministry, along with a presentation of an Award of Excellence to Barrister Isaac Danladi by the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, Nasarawa State chapter.
