Obi LG: Yekpowudu Hands Over to DPM, Attributes Success to People

The former chairman of Obi local government council, Ozhe Joshua Yekpowudu has attributed the success of his achievement to the support of the people of the area.

Yekpowudu stated this while handing over the affairs of the Council to the Director of Personnel Management in Obi.

in a remark during a formal handing-over ceremony to the Director of Personnel Management, Mallam Aliyu Aseyoneshi, the former chairman of Obi local government council, Ozhe Joshua Yekpowudu expressed deep appreciation for the support and cooperation he received from both the staff and management of the council.

While attributing the successes of his administration to the support of the people, the stakeholders and Governor Sule, Yekpowudu assured that he will continue to support the policies of the present administration and ensure the success of the APC in the forthcoming local government election in the area.

The former Chairman called on the staff of Obi local government Council to extent similar to his successor and commended their effort in ensuring the success of his administration.

Responding after receiving the mantle of leadership, the Director Personal Management of Obi local government Council, Malam Aliyu Aseyoneshi commended the leadership qualities of Yekpowudu, particularly his dedication to effective service delivery.

Aseyoneshi assured that he would carry on the initiatives started by Yekpowudu as they approach the forthcoming local government elections.
