The Nasarawa State Ministry of Women Affairs has reaffirmed its commitment to equipping the girl child with sustainable skills for self-reliance.

Mohammed Uba Mohammed, the ministry’s covering Permanent Secretary, made this promise at the “Girls Mentorship and Creativity” program, commemorating the International Day of the Girl Child.

Organized by Beyond the Pages and Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE), the event brought together female students from public schools across the state.
