Nasarawa State Set for Inauguration of Top Officials on October 18
The Nasarawa State Government has announced the inauguration of newly appointed top officials, scheduled for Friday, October 18, 2024.
Those to be sworn in include permanent secretaries, the state Auditor General, members of the Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission, and the Director-General of the Nasarawa State Bureau of Public Procurement.
Other officials to be inaugurated include the Commissioner for the Nasarawa State Boundary Commission, chairman and members of the Governing Council of the College of Education Akwanga, and the General Manager and Assistant General Manager of the Greater Karu Development Control Agency.
The ceremony will take place at 10:00 am at the Aliyu Akwe Doma Banquet Hall, Government House Lafia. Dignitaries expected to attend include the Speaker and members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, the Chief Judge, Grand Kadi, and President of the Customary Court of Appeal, among others.
Guests are advised to be seated by 9:30 am.
