Abubakar Sarki Dahiru Enhances Healthcare in Nasarawa with Multi-Million Naira Diagnostic Machine Donation
In a significant boost to healthcare services in Nasarawa State, Abubakar Sarki Dahiru, the member representing Lafia-Obi Federal Constituency, has donated a Spark GeneXpert Test machine valued in the millions to the Comprehensive Primary Health Care Center in Kwandare.
The donation ceremony, held at the health facility, aims to enhance the quality of healthcare delivery in the region. According to Dahiru, the advanced digital machine will enable the center to conduct a wide range of over a hundred different medical tests, including those for Tuberculosis, HIV, hepatitis, Lassa fever, and other related diseases.
Represented by his campaign’s Director General, Tajudeen Hassan, Dahiru emphasized his commitment to providing essential democratic dividends to improve the standard of living for residents of his constituency. He noted that this is part of a larger effort, having recently donated another GeneXpert Test machine to the Dalatu Araf Specialists Hospital in Lafia.
Dahiru urged the management and staff of the Kwandare health facility to handle the machine with care and encouraged the citizens of Nasarawa to support Governor Sule for the state’s progress.
The Matron of the Comprehensive Primary Health Care Center, Mrs. Felicia Yusuf, expressed gratitude for the donation, assuring the lawmaker that the machine would be effectively utilized.
Additionally, Alhaji Iliyasu Galadima, speaking on behalf of Sangarin Kwandare, Alhaji Ahmadu Al-makura, commended Dahiru for his purposeful leadership, stating that this donation would significantly improve the health conditions of the people in Nasarawa State.
