Nasarawa State Commissioner Emphasizes Hard Work and Dedication for Optimal Productivity
Nasarawa State Commissioner of Water Resources and Rural Development, Abubakar Odah Akum, has stressed the importance of hard work and dedication for optimal productivity in the public service sector. He made this statement during the handing-over ceremony of the newly posted Permanent Secretary, Engr. Aliyu Ayitogo Akaese, at the Ministry’s conference hall in Lafia.
Akum emphasized that a committed workforce is crucial for personal success and the overall development of the state. He challenged the ministry’s staff to extend their support and cooperation to the new Permanent Secretary, ensuring a seamless transition.
Engineer Danladi Akpoko Osagede, the covering permanent secretary, expressed optimism about Akaese’s expertise in water resources management, urging staff to remain committed to developing sustainable policies.
Akaese appreciated Governor Abdullahi Sule for his appointment and sought support from the ministry for effective project execution. Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Mustapha Yahaya Idris, praised Akaese as a hardworking and committed individual, tasking him to excel in his new role.
This emphasis on hard work and dedication aligns with Governor Abdullahi Sule’s vision for transparency, accountability and rule of law. The Nasarawa State government has previously sworn in commissioners, charging them to shun corrupt tendencies and key into this vision.
