Sangarin Shabu Lauds Federal Road Safety Corps’ Efforts in Nasarawa State
The Sangarin Shabu, Alhaji Mahmoud Umar Bwalla the second, has praised the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) for its tireless efforts in educating the public on the dangers of reckless driving. He made this statement while hosting officers from the FRSC RS4.37 Bukan Sidi unit at his palace.
Alhaji Mahmoud Umar Bwalla commended the FRSC’s dedication to safeguarding lives on highways, emphasizing the need for strengthened collaboration to reduce road accidents in Nasarawa State. However, he expressed dissatisfaction with the indiscriminate installation of speed bumps on roads, urging authorities to ensure only approved speed bumps are used.
Acting Unit Commander Daniel Isoga explained that the visit aimed to partner with the palace in creating awareness about reckless driving and promoting adherence to highway rules and regulations.
In a separate development, the ECWA Women Fellowship Shabu presented a trophy won during a competition, seeking the monarch’s blessings and sharing their activities. The Sangarin Shabu praised their resilience and encouraged continued prayers for the state’s and country’s betterment.
Additionally, Dalhatu Dalhatu, Chief Orientation and Mobilization Officer of the National Orientation Agency (NOA) in Lafia, visited the palace to emphasize the importance of learning the new national anthem, national values charter and obeying national symbols.
