Ezinano Community Offers ₦10m Reward for Info on Nibo Killings Perpetrators
The Ezinano Community in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State has announced a ₦10 million reward for information leading to the capture of those responsible for the killings in Nibo community.
At least 13 lives were lost during the ‘Onwa Asaa festival’ when unidentified gunmen attacked. The police confirmed cult-related clashes.
Community leader Jeff Nweke condemned the violence, declaring war on cultism, and vowed to avenge future deaths. He urged anyone with information to come forward.
Additionally, Nweke unveiled a ₦100 million empowerment fund for rural women to promote economic development.
The event featured cultural performances, masquerade dances, and community festivities.
