College of Education Akwanga Alumni Urged to Support Alma Mater
The Alumni members of the College of Education, Akwanga, have been encouraged to contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of their alma mater. Otsona Livinus, President of the 13-member Alumni Committee, made this call during a meeting of the Southern Senatorial Zone held at Government Science Secondary School, Lafia.

- Increase Alumni membership
- Provide mentorship, networking, and opportunities for current students and graduates
Livinus emphasized the importance of collective efforts and positive contributions to enhance the Association’s activities. He noted the numerous benefits that come from unity and collaboration.
Support from Stakeholders
- State Chairman of the All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools, Christopher Ogiri, stressed the importance of increasing Alumni membership.
- Board of Trustee member Abubakar Musa highlighted the significant role alumni play in their institutions and society.
This meeting follows a directive from Provost Dr. Jonathan Thani to establish the committee and mobilize alumni for the upcoming National Officials elections within the next two years.
