Nasarawa State Boosts Digital Economy with National Digital Economy and Governance Bill 2024
Nasarawa Information Technology and Digital Economy Agency (NASITDEA) has taken significant steps to enhance access to digital services, making revenue collection easier and more efficient. This development emerged during a stakeholders’ engagement on the National Digital Economy and Governance Bill 2024, organized by the Federal Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy in collaboration with NASITDEA.
Key Objectives of the Bill:

The stakeholders’ engagement aimed to facilitate collaboration among government ministries, departments, agencies, and parastatals to review and refine the e-governance bill 2024. Director General Haruna Sani emphasized that the bill would advance digital literacy in the civil service if implemented effectively.
