Nasarawa State’s Healthcare Boost: IMPACT Project to Renovate 58 Facilities
The Immunisation Plus and Malaria Progress by Accelerating Coverage and Transforming Services (IMPACT) project is set to renovate 58 healthcare facilities across Nasarawa State, addressing maternal and child-related deaths. Program Manager Adamu Yakubu Ohaganyi shared this development during an advocacy visit to the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage Mohammed.
Project Objectives:
- Improve Maternal and Child Health: Enhance healthcare service delivery to reduce maternal and child mortality.
- Renovate Healthcare Facilities: Upgrade 58 facilities to provide quality healthcare services.
Ohaganyi emphasized that the project aims to improve healthcare accessibility, particularly in rural areas. The Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage Mohammed, expressed gratitude for the project’s human-centered approach and pledged support for its success.
