Nasarawa State Government Boosts Agriculture and Security with New Equipment
Nasarawa State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting government policies and programs by providing an enabling environment for effective implementation. Governor Abdullahi Sule made this statement while presenting 30 additional tractors to enhance farming activities in the state, complementing the 23 previously distributed across 13 local governments.
Agricultural Development
The tractors are part of President Tinubu’s food security initiative, aimed at boosting agricultural production. Governor Sule urged local government chairmen to ensure the tractors are judiciously used.
Security Enhancement
The Governor also presented utility vehicles and motorcycles to security agencies to support their operations. This move is expected to improve security and stimulate production across government ministries, departments, and agencies.
Armed Forces Remembrance Emblem Launch
Governor Sule launched the 2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Emblem, honoring Nigerian fallen heroes and their efforts in maintaining national unity and sovereignty. He emphasized the importance of sustaining measures to support serving and retired military personnel.
