Media Mastery: Agara Receives Nasarawa Journalists Trained in China
The Director General of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), Dr. Silas Ali Agara has played host to two outstanding journalists from Nasarawa State who represented Nigeria at the Omni-media Seminar in China.
God’spower Ede and Ibrahim Abdul from Nasarawa Broadcasting Service (NBS) returned from the two-week training, held at Zheijang Normal University in Jinhua, China, from October 31 to November 13, 2024.
Recieving the media personalities at his Akwanga residence, Agara praised the duo’s exceptional performance, professionalism, and uncommon skills in modern journalism.
He urged them to bring positive changes to NBS and Nasarawa State’s media landscape as they resume their respective duties.Agara pledged to utilize his NDE office to create opportunities for capacity enhancement in various fields for citizens of Nasarawa State and beyond.
Spokesman of the delegation God’spower Ede expressed gratitude to Agara for nominating them for the training, which boosted their journalism skills in the technology-driven global media landscape. The journalists vowed to deploy their knowledge productively and solicit greater opportunities.
The Omni-media Seminar brought together professionals from South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Kenya, Ethiopia, Benin, Ghana, Gambia, Zambia, and Nigeria.
