Doma LGA Celebrates Native Son’s Elevation to Deputy Inspector General of Police

It was a joyful moment for the people of Doma LGA of Nasarawa State as one of their own Muhammad Ali Ari Doma was promoted to the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police.

To this end the Andoma of Doma Alh Ahmadu Aliyu Ogah Onawo led a powerful delegation of title holders as well as prominent sons and daughters of Doma including former Nigeria Ambassador to Sierra Leone Henry Omaku to Nigeria force headquarters Louis Edet House Abuja to witness the official decoration of their son Muhammad Ali Ari as Deputy Inspector General of Police representing North Central Zone.

Secretary to government of Nasarawa state, Barr. Muhammad Aliyu Ubandoma on the other hand led top government officials to the event on behalf of Governor Abdullahi Sule.

Apart from the Nasarawa State delegation, the conference room of inspector general of police was also filled to capacity with the ranks and files, family members, friends and associates of the celebrant.

Decorating the New Deputy Inspector General of Police DIG Muhammad Ali Ari with his new rank, the inspector general of police Kayode Adeola Egbetokun apart from congratulating the new DIG for the well deserved elevation as approved by the police service commission.

IGP Egbetokun described DIG Ari as an exceptional and intelligent police officer as well as his cadet mate in the police academy.

In his response, the new DIG representing North Central Zone Muhammad Ali Ari who assured that he is equal to the task appreciated IGP Egbetokun for founding him worthy of the appointment promising to justify the confidence reposed in him.

The DIG Ari’s acceptance speech was followed by congratulations and photo shoot

The DIG Muhammad Ali Ari who was born on March 1st 1965 was enlisted into the Nigeria police force on March 3rd 1999 as cadet inspector.

He holds a BSc MSc and Phd in Library Science and Industrial Management.
