Nasarawa State Governor Relieves Special Advisers and Aides of Their Appointments

Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has relieved his Special Advisers and other aides of their appointments. This decision was announced during a meeting with the political appointees, which was held to appreciate their contributions to good governance in the state.
The meeting, which was the first in 2025, saw the disengagement of political appointees, including Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, and Personal Assistants from office. Governor Sule acknowledged the contributions of the appointees and promised to reappoint some of them based on their performance.
Additionally, the Governor plans to appoint competent individuals to the governing boards of government establishments. He also assured the disengaged appointees that they would receive all their accrued benefits in full.
This move is seen as a strategic step by Governor Sule to reposition his administration and ensure that the state is governed effectively. The Governor has previously sworn in new commissioners and special advisers, emphasizing the importance of hard work, dedication, and selfless service.
