Bandits Attack Church in Nasarawa State, Kill Three and Abduct Others

A devastating attack occurred last Monday at the Divine Majesty Worship Ministry in Nasarawa State, where bandits stormed the premises, targeting a hostel that accommodated financially disadvantaged worshippers.

According to Ramhan Nansel, spokesperson for the Nasarawa State Police Command, the assailants struck during a night prayer vigil, killing three worshippers and abducting several others. The kidnappers subsequently demanded a ransom of N100 million.

Fortunately, the police were able to respond swiftly and effectively. Nansel confirmed that the abducted persons were successfully rescued within 48 hours and have since been reunited with their families.

This incident highlights the ongoing security challenges faced by communities in Nasarawa State and the need for continued vigilance and cooperation between law enforcement agencies and the public.
