Society for Family Health’s Activities Receive Government Commendation

The Nasarawa State Government has expressed satisfaction with the activities of the Society for Family Health (SFH) in the state. This commendation was made by the State Commissioner for Water and Natural Resources, Alhaji Muhammad Agah Muluku, during a workshop organized by SFH.
Since its inception, SFH has been actively involved in various health-related initiatives in Nasarawa State, including family planning, malaria prevention, HIV/AIDS prevention, and water sanitation hygiene programs. The workshop aimed to evaluate SFH’s activities and address challenges, particularly in water sanitation hygiene intervention programs.
Alhaji Muluku praised SFH’s implementation of water sanitation hygiene programs in selected local government areas, yielding great results. He pledged the state government’s commitment to providing a healthy environment for the program’s sustainability.
The General Manager of the Nasarawa State Water Board, Geologist Ahmed Abubakar Kana, and the acting General Manager of the Nasarawa State Water Supply and Sanitation Agency, Geologist Haruna Ewa, acknowledged the state’s benefits from SFH’s activities in water sanitation and hygiene intervention. They promised to continue the synergy between SFH and the state government.
Pharmacist Jane Adizue, the State project leader, explained that the workshop aimed to bring stakeholders together to improve water sanitation hygiene in selected local government areas. She commended the state government for its support.
Representatives from various ministries and agencies delivered goodwill messages, praising SFH’s performance in the state.
