Pastor Ezekiel Danladi of ECWA Good News Keffi has urged Christians to live exemplary lives to secure their place in the Kingdom of God. He made this call during the burial service of the late Mrs. Hannatu Samuel Luka, held at ECWA Good News One, Keffi, on Friday.

The church was filled with sympathizers, including former Minister of Information Labaran Maku, who came to bid farewell to the deceased, mother-in-law to Barr. Esson Mairiga, a member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly. The Speaker of the State Assembly, Danladi Jatau, led other members in paying their respects to their bereaved colleague and the deceased’s family.

In his condolence message, Speaker Jatau urged the family to find solace in God and to emulate the deceased’s positive life. He described the late Mrs. Hannatu Samuel Luka as a devoted Christian and retired teacher whose legacy would be difficult to forget.

Pastor Danladi emphasized that earthly life is temporary and that believers should strive to emulate the deceased’s life. He noted that death is inevitable and challenged believers to work towards making heaven. The pastor prayed for God’s protection amid banditry, natural disasters, and killings that have been affecting the nation.

The final interment of the deceased took place at the family compound in GRA Keffi, accompanied by a special prayer for God’s protection. The deceased’s family received condolences from far and wide, with many describing her as a woman of great faith and character.
