APC Legal Adviser Bags Prestigious Rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN

The Nasarawa State Government has lauded the contributions of the APC Legal Adviser Professor Abdulkarim Abubakar Kana, SAN, towards the growth of the party at the national and subnational levels.

Deputy Governor of the state, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe gave the commendation during a reception to honour the legal luminary for his elevation to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN at the Palms Hotel, Central Area Abuja.

Describing the elevation of Professor Abdulkarim Abubakar Kana to the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN as worth it, the state Deputy Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe who stood in for Governor Abdullahi Sule at the ceremony used the occasion to call on sons and daughters of the state within and in the diaspora to ensure they contribute their quota to the development of Nasarawa state and humanity.

According to him, the state made the right choice in selecting Professor Kana as the national legal adviser of the ruling party, saying the honoree is a worthy ambassador of the state, having served Nasarawa State diligently.

Governor Sule’s representative equally expressed confidence in the ability of the APC National Adviser to continue to add value to the state and the APC led administration both at the state and national levels.

The APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, represented by the National Deputy Chairman North, Aliyu Dalori, eulogised the legal adviser, affirming that since he assumed office, Professor Kana has worked relentlessly to boost the machinery of the party, assuring of their continuous support to their legal anchor.

Benue State Deputy Governor Sam Odeh, Minister of State for Police Affairs, Imam Suleiman and her Special Duties counterpart Zafaniya Jasalo as well as Senator Solomon Ewuga all expressed their goodwill to the honoree, describing him as a loyal, hardworking, committed and result oriented person.

The event, organized by the National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), drew dignitaries from all walks of life.
