Awalu Adamu Inaugurates Modern Abattoir to Enhance Meat Processing Hygiene Before Transitioning Leadership

Former Chairman of Kokona Local Government Council, Awalu Adamu has inaugurated an Abattoir built during his administration to improve hygiene in meat processing in the area.

He inaugurated the Abattoir shortly before Handing over the mantle of leadership to the Director of Personnel Management, DPM of the Council. Adamu explained that the move was part of his administration’s commitment to leave footprints on the sand of time.

Adamu then advised leadership of the Abattoir to ensure that the facility was well managed in order to achieve the essence it was meant for.

Responding, Chairman of Abattoir Association of Kokona Local Government branch, Usman Muhammad appreciated the former Kokona Council Chairman for the project and called on other leaders to emulate him.

Shortly after the Inauguration of the project, Former Chairman of Kokona Local Government Council, Awalu Adamu together with his political associates proceeded to the Council’s Secretariat, Garaku where the Former Chairman handed over the mantle of leadership to the DPM and appreciated management and Staff of the Council for the support accorded him.

Responding, the DPM of Kokona Local Government Council, Tanko Tukur apart from eulogizing the leadership qualities of the Former Chairman of the Council , promised to be fair and just in discharging his official duty , soliciting for same cooperation and Support from Staff of the Council.

Some Staff of the council who spoke at the event described the Former Chairman of the Council, Awalu Adamu as a true democrat.
