Gov Sule Underscores Significance of Solid Minerals in Advancing Socio-Economic Fortune

Governor Abdullahi Sule has emphasized the importance of fostering an environment that will advance the socio-economic development of the state.

He stated this during a reception organized to celebrate his victory at the Supreme Court.

The event was attended by a multitude of dignitaries, including Nasarawa State First Lady, Hajiya Silifat Abdullahi Sule, traditional rulers, the state’s APC chairman, Aliyu Bello, party stalwarts, among others who gathered to celebrate Governor Abdulahi Sule’s recent victory at the Supreme Court.

Speaking, Governor Abdullahi Sule expressed his appreciation to the party loyalists and supporters for their unwavering support throughout the legal proceedings, calling for calm and peaceful coexistence among the citizens of the state for its progress.

He also underscored the significance of the state’s solid minerals in advancing its socio-economic fortune and called for unity and respect for constituted authorities to propel the state forward urging citizens, regardless of affiliation, to exercise caution in their speech, follow divine guidance, and promote lawful coexistence to sustain unity in diversity for sustainable development, emphasizing that the law will hold accountable those who disrupt the harmonious coexistence enjoyed by the state’s people.

The State APC Chairman, Aliyu Bello pledged the party’s continuous alignment with the state government’s policies and programs to create a level playing field for all citizens to contribute meaningfully to the state’s development.

He commended members of the All Progressives Congress for their dedication and pledged support to Governor Abdulahi Sule, acknowledging the Supreme Court’s verdict as a true reflection of the people’s choice.

On their part the State Accountant General, Musa Ahmed Mohammed, Alhaji Yusuf Agabi Durbin Lafia, State Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Abubakar Zanwa, leader of Salifat Abdulahi Sule support group, Hajiya Maryam Musa Ahmed among others showered encomium on Suleiman Aliyu Sambo for organizing the event and lauded the achievement of Governor Abdulahi Sule in critical sectors, calling on all and sundry to rally round the Governor.

Suleiman Aliyu Sambo who is the organizer of the event noted that it was in honour of the victory of Governor Abdulahi Sule at the Supreme Court which he said was divinely design, hence the need for more support and corporation to enable him deliver more dividend of democracy to the people.
