Governor Sule Receives Report of Visitation Panel for IMAP
Governor Abdullahi Sule says the setting up of a visitation panel for the Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic in October 2023 is part of measures to reposition the institution for optimal result.
The Governor stated this while receiving the report of the visitation panel at Government House Lafia.
Underscoring his commitment to enhancing technical and functional education, Governor Abdullahi Sule submits that the choice of persons who served on the visitation panel is borne out of their level of competence, hence appreciating the efforts they have put in.
The Governor who was frank in trenching the value of technical education, affirmed that his administration will see to the full implementation of the recommendations of the panel, asserting that the action is not unrelated to the need to actualize the motive for the establishment of the polytechnic.
Inaugurated on October 2023, the visitation panel operated within the terms of reference and time allotted.
This according to the Chairman of the Panel, Engineer Ali Rabiu guided the members in carrying out the onerous task where it received memoranda and interfaced with individuals that availed the team of considerable information.
Engineer Rabiu explained that the report being submitted also includes recommendations that would allow the state government to address the challenges the polytechnic is confronted with.
