NOA To Launch National Value Charter
The Director General of National Orientation Agency, NOA Malam Lanre Issa Onilo says the agency will soon launch National Value Chatter that will enable Nigerians to keep upholding the good virtues for the betterment of the country.
Malam Lanre Onilo revealed this during a press briefing at the NOA Headquarters in Lafia as part of activities of the agency’s advocacy visit and Value Re-orientation to Nasarawa State.
Addressing Journalists on the readiness of National Orientation Agency to meet up with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu towards Reorienting Nigerians on the core values of being responsible citizens, the Director General of the agency Malam Lanre Issa Onilo said National value chatter will soon be launched by the President.
Other plans to change the attitude of Nigerians on fulfilling the dreams of the country’s founding fathers which center on Integrity, Innovation, hardwork, perseverance, the NOA Boss emphasized that citizens brigade will be introduced in primary schools to teach younger generation on how to contribute to national development.
On the introduction of security Mobile App to tackle insecurity in the country, the NOA Director General urged every Nigerians to download and make use it in reporting any security threat to the appropriate authorities.
The Director General of National Orientation Agency Malam Lanre Issa Onilo who pointed out that the agency will continue to partner traditional and religious leaders as well as relevant stakeholders to ensure that the National Value Chatter is actualized, calling on Nigerians to support the agency and governments to make Nigeria a better place for all.
