Nalaraba Distributes Food Items To Muslims in His Constituency
Over fifty thousand people from Awe, Doma and Keana federal constituency are to benefit from food palliative in the spirit of Ramadan.
The gesture is courtesy member representing the area at the House of Representatives Abubakar Hassan Nalaraba.
A total of five thousand and fifty-eight bags of rice are to be distributed to the people of Awe, Doma and Keana federal constituency out of which four thousand bags came from the House of Representatives member while one thousand and fifty-eight were donated by the federal government to share among constituents as palliative.
The gesture, according to Abubakar Hassan Nalaraba is to cushion the effect of the present economic hardships having done so to Christian community during Christmas for fairness and justice.
Emphasizing the importance of feeding the fasting persons, the national assembly lawmaker noted that the gesture has been part of his life even before his election as the member representing the area at the green chamber.
Thomas Ogiri, the Chairman of Nalaraba Campaign Council explained that adequate measures have been put in place to ensure the rice get to the target beneficiaries as all the stakeholders are being considered in the sharing formula.
