According to Governor Abdullahi Sule, the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure NASENI will greatly assist in meeting some of Nigerians’ requirements if its outfits are utilized efficiently.
Governor Sule stated this during a visit to NASENI’s headquarters in Abuja where he introduced the Executive Vice Chairman of NASENI to Bobtrack Tractors, a company that makes and assembles tractors and farm implements, in keeping with the agency’s commitment to improving made-in-Nigeria goods.
According to the governor, the presence of NASENI facilities in Nasarawa State has increased opportunities for collaboration with the tractor manufacturing company, which is prepared to begin production and offers Nigerians excellent employment and market opportunities.
Welcoming Governor Abdullahi Sule and the representatives of Bobtrack Tractors, the Executive Vice Chairman of NASENI, Khalil Suleiman Halilu appreciated the similarities shared by the Governor on areas that are beneficial to the people.
Noting that the visit was also meant to improve the relationship between Nasarawa State and the agency, Governor Sule tasked the management and staff of NASENI to provide the Executive Vice Chairman with the necessary support to achieve the established goals.
He emphasized the agency’s commitment to promoting arrangements aimed at improving local content and the partnerships it has formed outside of research and innovations.
Iribifiri Bob Manuel, the Managing Director of Bobtrack Tractors, says that his company is committed to making the relationship work because it will benefit from promoting the national brand of agricultural equipment, which is related to NASENI’s vision of making sure ideas that are needed for the growth of the nation’s economy are domesticated.
