Igbo Community Women Wing to Address Needs of Less Privileged
The Nasarawa State Igbo Community Association Women’s Wing, Lafia Chapter has reiterated its commitment to addressing the needs of the less privileged in the society.
The President of the Association, Barrister Uju Ezeora stated this during a special outreach event at the children’s home behind the Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital Lafia.
During the event, food items, cash donations, detergents, and other essentials were distributed to the orphans, demonstrating the Association’s unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of the less fortunate, especially during these challenging times of economic hardship.
President of the Igbo Community Association Women’s Wing said their gesture was not just a one-time effort but a continuous mission to provide support and care to those who need it the most.
She also expressed the organization’s willingness to collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and other relevant organizations dedicated to uplifting the vulnerable members of society.
Barrister Uju encouraged individuals of means to extend a helping hand to those in need, emphasizing the importance of generosity and compassion towards the less privileged.
In response to the kind gesture, the in charge of the orphanage Charity Lawrence expressed gratitude to the Igbo Community Association Women’s Wing in Lafia for their support.
