The leadership of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and Engineering Regulations Monitoring has reaffirmed its commitment to enforcing ethical standards among contractors handling various projects in Nasarawa State.

During an assessment visit to the ongoing construction of a flyover and underpass project in Lafia, the Nasarawa State Capital, the State Chief Inspector of the Council, Engineer Obade Jonathan, emphasized the importance of compliance with COREN’s standards.

Since the award of the construction of the flyover and underpass project by the Nasarawa State Government, there has been positive feedback from various stakeholders commending the government’s decision.

During a visit by the State leadership of COREN and Engineering Regulations Monitoring aimed to evaluate the equipment and standards of the ongoing project, the State Chief Inspector Engineer Obade Jonathan expressed satisfaction with the progress of the work and emphasized the Council’s dedication to ensuring that contractors adhere to the agreed-upon quality standards.

Project Engineer and Head of Quality Control, Engineer Fagbohun Akin, welcomed the assessment and pledged to deliver a high-quality project within the stipulated two-year timeframe.

During the visit, NBS news observed that work is progressing well, with worksite.
