Aliyu Bello Emphasizes Importance of Youth Empowerment at Foundation’s Football Tournament

Aliyu Bello Charity Foundation has reiterated commitment to empowering the younger generation with essential skills to help them unlock their full potential.

The founder, Aliyu Bello stated this shortly after the second edition of the foundation’s under-13 football tournament between lafia Local Government and Akwanga Local Government Areas at the Lafia township stadium Tuesday.

The grand finale of the tournament, which saw an exciting showdown between team Akwanga and Lafia Local Government Areas, ended in a thrilling penalty shootout.

Ultimately, Lafia Local Government emerged victorious by converting all their kicks, securing their opportunity to lift the trophy.

Elated by this, the founder of the Aliyu Bello Charity Foundation expressed gratitude to Governor Abdullahi Sule and other dignitaries who graced the event, reaffirming the Foundation’s commitment to aligning with government initiatives that promote and support youth engagement in sports activities. While highlighting the role of sports in fostering unity in diversity for national progress and development, he noted the Foundation’s mission to make a positive impact on the society and uplift its citizens.

Aliyu Bello, the founder of the charity foundation and also the State APC Chairman, emphasized that the organization will sustain its efforts to introduce initiatives that address the needs of the community, particularly the most vulnerable members of society.
