Geologist Ahmad Abubakar Kana Leads Efforts to Improve Water Supply in Nasarawa State
The Nasarawa State Government is exploring ways of addressing challenges facing water supply in the state.
General Manager Nasarawa State Water Board, Geologist Ahmad Abubakar Kana, disclosed this when he played host to a team of consultants from Arts Engineering Limited.
Considering the challenges hampering effective water supply, the Nasarawa State Government is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that residents have adequate water supply.
To this end, a team of consultants from ARTS Engineering Limited is in the state to explore ways of partnership geared towards ensuring efficiency in water supply.
The General Manager of Nasarawa State Water Board, Geologist Ahmad Abubakar Kana, who took the team round some water facilities in Lafia and Akwanga Local Government Areas, said if the deal is sealed, it will see the deployment of modern technology to improve water supply in the state.
According to him, the possible areas of partnership include alternative power supply and rehabilitation of water facilities in the state.
