Nasarawa State Government praises lawmaker Solomon Akwashiki for dedication to constituents

Nasarawa State Government has commended the Member representing Lafia Central at the state Assembly, Solomon Akwashiki for impacting positively on the lives of his Constituents.

The Deputy Governor of the state, Doctor Emmanuel Akabe gave the commendation during the presentation of vehicles to the seven wards of the constituency on the occasion of the lawmaker’s one year anniversary.

The state Deputy Governor Dr. Emmanuel Akabe while expressing satisfaction with the quality representation of the Member representing Lafia Central constituency at the state Assembly, Solomon Akwashiki said the lawmaker has proven his worth in his one year in office.

He described the House Member as a man whose time has come, calling on other lawmakers to emulate his passion for the growth of humanity, just as he enjoined citizens to jettison the intricacies of the post 2023 election and focus on things that would advance the course of Nasarawa state.

Dr. Akabe equally lauded the present leadership of the state Assembly for operating on zero party bases and for sustaining the cordiality between the two arms of government, assuring of Governor Abdullahi Sule’s support for the House to thrive.

Nasarawa State First Lady, Silifat Abdullahi Sule re-echoed the commendation of the state Deputy Governor, noting that the Minority Chief Whip has done well for his constituents within a short period, calling for more support for the lawmaker.

Other notable members of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, including the Senator representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Ahmed Aliyu Wadada and his counterpart in the House of Representatives, Abubakar Sarki Dahiru as well as the APC in the state extolled the virtues of Solomon Akwashiki who they affirmed has not failed his people.

For the celebrant, Solomon Akwashiki who is the Chairman of the House Committee on Public Accounts, his one year in office means bringing more democratic dividends to the door steps of those who elected him into the Assembly, pledging in that regard.
