Ovyesha Foundation Urges Stakeholders to Complement Government’s Food Security Initiatives
Stakeholders have been urged to compliment state government efforts towards enhancing food security in the state.The Chief Executive Officer of a Non-Governmental Organization, Ovyesha Foundation, Ovye Albert Bashayi stated this during the distribution of water pulse sprayers and Greensate herbicides to farmers at RCM Primary School in Lizzi Keffi Ezen, Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area.
Presenting the pulse sprayers and Greensate herbicides to traditional leaders and farmers from Brum- brum, Eka wangibi, Langa-langa, Mada station, lambuga Arikpa, Kagbu, Ume, and Ende, Comrade Ovye Albert Bashayi emphasized the vital role of non-governmental organizations and individuals in supporting farmers with essential farm inputs to boost food production.
Bashayi who underscored the foundation’s dedication to extending support to more communities, advised the beneficiaries to utilize the items effectively.
Also speaking, the Aren Ozzi, Mr. Agga Agu Envuluanza acknowledged that the assistance provided to members of the communities would significantly contribute to food security, not just within those areas but also throughout the entire state.
Echoing these sentiments, the district head of Eka wangibi, Maga Ajigena, and Joanna Emmanuel Envuladu, among others, lauded the initiative, affirming that it would play a significant role in boosting food security efforts.
