Ahemba Urges Kuduku Community to Maintain Peace and Harmony
The Tiv community in Keana Local Government Area has been urged to avoid any actions that could disrupt the peace and unity of the area.
The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Abdullahi Sule on Public Affairs Peter Ahemba made the call during a community meeting held at Kuduku.
The event brought together members of the Tiv community in Keana, aimed at discussing strategies to maintain the peaceful atmosphere enjoyed by the Tiv people in the area.
The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Sule on Public Affairs Peter Ahemba said the meeting aligns with Governor Sule’s ongoing peace initiatives, which seek to ensure a harmonious environment in Keana and throughout Nasarawa State.
Ahemba urged the Tiv people not to allow themselves to be exploited by those with ulterior motives.
Contributing, the Former Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Agriculture, Mercy Kumbul, also expressed gratitude to Governor Sule for appointing Ahemba as his aide and called for unity among the Tiv people of Keana and other ethnic groups in the area.
The Special Assistant to the Governor on Political Affairs for Nasarawa South, Ibrahim Bido, added that the purpose of the gathering was to raise awareness among the Tiv community about the importance of remaining peaceful and united with their neighbors.
He called on the community to support the current administration in its efforts toward development and peace.
Several participants commended Ahemba for his dedication to fostering unity among the Tiv community not only in Keana but across the state as a whole.
