Akwanga: Outgoing Chairman Hands Over to DPM

The outgoing Chairman Akwanga Local Government Council, Safiyanu Isa Andaha, has officially handed over the mantle of leadership to the Director of Personnel Management of the Council.

During the ceremony, the outgoing ChairmanAkwanga Local Government Council, Safiyanu Isa Andaha expressed gratitude to God and the people of Akwanga for their support throughout his three-year term saying his administration has been able to execute projects that impacted on the lives of the people positively.

Andaha who also appreciatedGovernor Abdullahi Sule for his transformative efforts in the state, particularly their positive effects on Akwanga, called on people of the state to continue to support the policies and programmes of the present administration.

Receiving the mantle of leadership, the Director of Personnel Management, AbdulHamid Idris described Andaha’s tenure as people-centered and transformational.

The Director of Personnel Management promised to be prudent in his leadership and called for cooperation and understanding as he temporarily oversees the council.
