Quadri Aruna Eyes History at 2024 African Table Tennis Championships

Nigerian table tennis superstar Quadri Aruna is on the cusp of making history at the 2024 African Championships in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (Oct 12-19).
A fourth singles title would cement his status as the first player to achieve this feat.
Aruna, cautiously optimistic after a mixed year, shared his thoughts with “Winning again in Ethiopia would be incredible, but the competition has intensified. I’ll give my best and see how it unfolds.”
Despite a disappointing exit at the Paris 2024 Olympics (Round of 64), Aruna remains focused on adding to his legacy. He defends his title starting Saturday, October 12.
