Nasarawa State Establishes Minimum Wage Committee
The Nasarawa State Executive Council has approved the formation of a new minimum wage committee, to be headed by Deputy Governor Dr. Emmanuel Akabe. This decision was reached during an expanded meeting of the state Executive Council, presided over by Governor Abdullahi Sule.
Meeting Objectives:
- Deliberate on New Minimum Wage: Addressing the need for a revised minimum wage.
- New Local Government Law: Discussing the implications and provisions of the new law.
- Congratulations to Local Government Officials: Governor Sule congratulated chairmen and councillors of the 13 local governments.
