The Nasarawa State Ministry for Special Duties on Humanitarian Services and NGOs has partnered with the World Health Organization to provide relief materials to flood victims in Doma Local Government Area. The donation, which includes food items and medicine, aims to alleviate the suffering of those affected by the flood.

Commissioner Margaret Itake Elayo emphasized that the gesture demonstrates the state government’s commitment to catering to the needs of its citizens, particularly during times of crisis. She urged the people of Obendo, Ijaw, Otiya, Olegokpa, and Achepe, who were most affected by the flood, to use the donated items wisely.

Governor Abdullahi Sule’s prompt intervention in providing aid to the flood victims was commended by Dr. Usman Iskilu, Executive Secretary of the Nasarawa State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, and Dr. Bosede Ezekwe, State Coordinator of the World Health Organization.
