The Aren Eggon, Retired Justice Ahmed Alaku, has taken a significant step towards preserving Eggon culture and tradition by inaugurating a 22-man Committee on Eggon Culture and Artifacts. This committee’s primary task is to develop a framework for the preservation, promotion, and protection of Eggon culture and tradition.

At the inauguration ceremony held at his palace in Nasarawa Eggon, Justice Alaku emphasized the importance of collective commitment towards safeguarding Eggon traditions, customs, and artifacts. He expressed optimism that the committee’s efforts will not only enrich Eggon cultural heritage but also foster unity, understanding, and national pride among the Eggon people and beyond.
