Silas Ali Agara is a renowned Nigerian politician and administrator, boasting an impressive portfolio of key government positions at both state and national levels.

The Akwanga born polical Icon’s rise to prominence began in 2003 when he was appointed Commissioner of Youth and Sports by Nasarawa State’s first civilian Governor, Dist. He was reappointed as Commissioner of Budget and Economic Planning by late Governor Aliyu Akwe Doma in 2007.

Additionally, he served as Special Adviser on Special Duties and Sports from 2011 to 2015.His most notable achievement was being elected Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State from 2015 to 2019.

During his tenure, Agara played a pivotal role in supporting Governor Umaru Tanko Almakura in driving the state’s development. In 2020, he was appointed Federal Commissioner representing Nasarawa State at the National Population Commission (NPC) by former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Recently, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu appointed Agara as the Director-General of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), a testament to his exceptional leadership skills and passion for driving economic growth.
