Barrister Jude Eze, Chairman of the National Forum of States Independent Electoral Commission, has expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the Local Government Chairmanship and Councillorship election in Nasarawa State. After inspecting polling units in Lafia, the state capital, Eze commended the election process.
The National Forum, comprising commissioners from 36 states and FCT Abuja, visited various polling units. Eze praised the conduct of the elections, noting its peaceful nature.
Barrister Ayuba Wandai Usman, State Chairman of the Independent Electoral Commission, attributed the peaceful election to the Commission’s commitment to a free, fair, and credible process. Wandai assured that the Commission will remain impartial in announcing the results.
