Nasarawa Health Agency Pledges 24-Hour Services Amid FG’s PHC Revitalization

The Nasarawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency has committed to providing 24-hour services as the Federal Government, in partnership with the World Bank, begins the revitalization of 58 Primary Healthcare facilities across the state. This initiative aims to improve healthcare services for residents Âą.
According to Usman Iskilu-Saleh, Executive Secretary of the Nasarawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency, the FG initially planned to revitalize at least one Primary Healthcare Center (PHC) in each of the 147 electoral wards. However, they commenced with 58 healthcare centers, expecting completion by June 2025.
The revitalized facilities will operate 24/7, ensuring uninterrupted healthcare services. Iskilu-Saleh reiterated the state government’s commitment to providing quality healthcare under Governor Abdullahi Sule’s leadership.
Key aspects of the revitalization project include:
