Hands-On Emergency Training
Nurse Mohammed Bako Zubairu, Team Lead of the Desired Family Health Foundation, served as the lead facilitator. He delivered an in-depth session on critical emergency interventions that can save lives before professional medical help arrives. His presentation included practical demonstrations to ensure participants could clearly understand and replicate key techniques such as CPR, bleeding control, and handling choking incidents.

Free Health Screenings and Counseling
Complementing the first-aid training, Aisha Lamaran, a nurse and member of the Rotary Club of Lafia Central, emphasized the importance of routine health check-ups for early detection and prevention of chronic illnesses. She led a medical team that provided free on-site screenings for high blood pressure, blood glucose levels, and hepatitis. Participants also received one-on-one counseling based on their test results.
