FOMWAN Members Receive Empowering Message from HRH Rtd Justice Alaku

The Aren Eggon Justice Ahmed Ubangari Alaku retired has challenge women to use their resources to make contributions towards the growth and development of the State.

The royal father made the call when he played host to members of the Federation of Muslim Women Association of Nigeria (FOMWAN) at his residence in Nasarawa Eggon.

Addressing the women of the association, the Aren Eggon retired Justice Ahmed Ubangari Alaku highlighted the critical role women play as stakeholders in national development and emphasized the importance of women as home builders.

Expressing gratitude to the leadership and members of FOMWAN for their visit, Justice Alaku encouraged them to embody the virtues and sacrifices of Nana Khadijat from the Quran and to continue supporting the propagation of Islam through their resources.

Hajiya Hashiya Ahmad, the state Amirat of FOMWAN, and Hajiya Zainab Ahmed, the National Assistant Secretary of the association, explained that the visit aimed to seek royal blessings and update Justice Alaku on the activities planned for FOMWAN week, scheduled for the first to the eighth of June 2024.

The FOMWAN members also visited the Nasarawa Eggon General Hospital where they distributed relief materials to patients and offered words of encouragement, emphasizing the importance of faith in challenging times, and prayed for the healing of the sick individuals.

Hajiya Hashiya Ahmad maintained that providing humanitarian assistance to the less privileged is a core value of FOMWAN.

Responding, the in charge of the Maternity Ward at Nasarawa Eggon General Hospital Mildred Bawa, and the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to FOMWAN for their support.
