Abubakar Sarkin Dahiru donates Revolutionary Medical device to DASH Lafia

The Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital Lafia DASH has taken delivery of a new Geniex machine, a state-of-the-art medical device aimed at enhancing healthcare services in the health institution.

This equipment was donated by the Member representing the Lafia-Obi federal constituency Abubakar Sarkin Dahiru as a proactive measure to support the government’s efforts in providing quality healthcare to the people.

During the handover ceremony at the hospital, Abubakar Sarki Dahiru emphasized his commitment to serving the people of his constituency and the state at large, with a particular focus on healthcare services.

He highlighted ongoing efforts to establish a Federal Breast Cancer Center in Nasarawa state, underscoring the importance of accessible and specialized medical facilities for all.

Expressing gratitude for the donation, the Director of Administration and Supplies at the hospital Ahmed Mohammed, noted that the Geniex machine would significantly improve the efficiency and accuracy of testing for diseases such as TB, HIV, and Hepatitis in the facility.

Also speaking representative from Witcann Civic Foundation, Christopher Ehimarey, further elaborated on the capabilities of the newly installed machine, emphasizing its potential to enhance diagnostic procedures for various illnesses.

After the handover of the equipment, Abubakar Sarkin Dahiru visited patients in different wards of the hospital providing financial assistance to those in need.
