Nasarawa State University, Keffi Vows Commitment to Academic Improvement and Infrastructure Development

In her address, the Vice Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman commended the Dean and his team for upholding globally recognized academic standards emphasizing the university’s commitment to continuous academic improvement and the development of essential infrastructure for a conducive learning environment.

The Vice Chancellor pledged to foster an inclusive administration that welcomes a diversity of ideas and suggestions aimed at advancing the university’s growth.

Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman urged the University’s alumni association to contribute to the institution’s progress.

Earlier, the Dean, postgraduate studies, Professor Abdullahi  Ari Maikano enumerated the achievement recorded within the one year in office including the digitization of academic system, the expansion and construction of offices, recreational centres named after the Vice-Chancellor and speedy completion of academic sessions among others

During a panel discussion, President of the Postgraduate Students Association and a PhD student in the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies Comrade Monday Abimiku, proposed the alignment of school fees across departments to alleviate financial burdens on students.

The Vice Chancellor led a visit to oversee the construction progress of a recreational center for both staff and students.

The event climaxed with the official opening of the Sa’adatu Hassan Liman e-Hub Garden at the School of Postgraduate Studies.
