The Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State, Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, SAN, has called on support groups of the All Progressives Congress, APC, to engage in constructive and issue-based campaigns ahead of the 2027 general elections in the state.

Magaji made the call in Lafia when he received various APC support groups in his office.

The groups included the Tinubu Project 27 Support Group, the Youth Wing of the White Cap Progressive Movement in Nasarawa Local Government Area, and Truthful Friends from the Gadabuke Development Area.

Addressing the groups, the Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State, Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, SAN, said APC support groups had a responsibility to enlighten members of the public on what he described as the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Abdullahi Sule in Nasarawa State.

He noted that all APC candidates in the state were credible and encouraged the support groups to avoid engaging in politics capable of overheating the polity.

Instead, he urged them to focus their campaigns on highlighting the developmental activities and programmes of the present administration at all levels.

The Secretary to the Government stressed that the prudent management of state resources by Governor Abdullahi Sule was evident across various sectors of the state, while also crediting the economic reforms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for contributing to the administration’s achievements.

In a remark, the Commissioner for Trade, Industry and Investment, Muhammed Sani Otto, said the APC at various levels had recorded significant achievements.

He expressed the commitment of the White Cap Progressive Movement to mobilising support for the success of all APC candidates in the state.

Also speaking, the Leader of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Project 27, Olusola Olawoore; the Coordinator of the Youth Wing of the White Cap Progressive Movement, Engr. Abuhuraira Ibrahim; and a representative of Truthful Friends, Gadabuke Development Area, commended the Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State for his role in coordinating the affairs of government.

They also acknowledged his efforts towards addressing unemployment among youths in the state.
